   “Cobrar” tiene varios significados: “to charge”, “to earn” y también “to hit” (informal)
   
2. Miguel pidió un descuento en la caja pero no se lo dieron = Miguel asked for a disount at the till/cash desk but they didn’t give it to him
   “La caja” tiene varios significados: till/cash desk, a safe, a box. “To fit (things together)” = encajar.
   “No se lo dieron” = “They didn’t give it to him” & “They didn’t give it to her“: Es el contexto de esta frase (Miguel) lo que exige que se traduzca como “to him”.
3. Prefiero ver una película en el cine porque el sonido está mejor = I prefer to watch/watching a film at the cinema because the sound is better
4. La belleza es un tema destacado en muchos vídeos online = Beauty is a prominent theme/a theme that stands out in many online videos
5. El consumo excesivo de alcohol es un problema internacional = Excessive alcohol consumption/Drinking too much alcohol is an international problem
