I’ve got one brother and one sister.  My brother is two years older than me but I am older than my sister.  My brother and I get on well because we have the same interests but I don’t get on with my sister because we are very different.  I used to go out a lot with my brother at the weekends, but I don’t any more because he has his own friends and I have mine.

Tengo un hermano y una hermana.  Mi hermano me lleva dos años pero soy mayor que mi hermana.  Mi hermano y yo nos llevamos bien porque nos interesan las mismas cosas, pero no me llevo bien con mi hermana porque somos muy diferentes. Solía salir a menudo con mi hermano los fines de semana, pero ya no porque él tiene sus propios amigos y yo tengo los míos.

My brother is two years older than me = Mi hermano me lleva dos años

but I am older than my sister. = pero soy mayor que mi hermana. 

My brother and I get on well because we have the same interests = Mi hermano y yo nos llevamos bien porque nos interesan las mismas cosas,

but I don’t get on with my sister = pero no me llevo bien con mi hermana

because we are very different. = porque somos muy diferentes.

but I don’t any more because he has his own friends = pero ya no porque él tiene sus propios amigos

and I have mine. = y yo tengo los míos.
